Wild combination of neon and perfume in that cool night air.

Paul Stephenson (If You Want My Love) weaves themes of dark memories, magical moments and mystical pictures into poetic tapestry that fascinates and ensnares the listener.

Steve Strauss ("Flesh and Blood" and "Mr. Bones") is a singer-songwriter of unusual depth and sensitivity. He combines tender melancholy and naive desire with cynicism and sort of morbid subversity - a reflection of his experiences with street kids as a social worker in New York. His unique vocal delivery simultaneously fascinates and polarizes - neutrality is not an option.

This vinyl LP version of "Very Audiophile New Recordings" is a Direct Metal Master vinyl edition. With Direct Metal Mastering, the groove is cut directly in copper metal. High-frequency loss, distortion and pre-echo associated with conventional lacquer mastering are eliminated and transient response is greatly improved. DMM record pressing sound brighter, cleaner, more detailed, with 15% more playing time than with lacquer technology. Stampers are plated directly from the DMM Copper Master, eliminating two of the three plating steps required for lacquers.
